Measurements
Neck: Measure the circumference of the neck, just below the Adam's Apple in inches with a tape measure made of cloth or plastic, rather than metal, to best conform to the neck's contours. The tape should be perpendicular to the long axis of the neck. Waist: Measure the circumference of the waist at navel level in inches. The tape should be parallel to the ground. Height: Measure the height in inches while the subject is barefoot or in socks. Determining Body Fat Percent: Subtract the neck measurement from the waist measurement. Enter the table with this number ("Meas") and height to find the estimated body fat percentage.
